Weapons Unlocked from “Modern Warfare II”
For the first time in the Call of Duty franchise, players can carry forward their progress from “Modern Warfare II” to “Modern Warfare III.” This means that weapons and other content unlocked in the previous game can be utilized in the new installment. This exciting feature allows players to continue building upon their achievements and enhances the overall gaming experience.
The Return of the Minimap: Expanded Multiplayer Maps
One highly anticipated feature making a comeback in “Modern Warfare III” is the minimap. This tool provides valuable information during multiplayer matches, alerting players when an enemy fires an unsuppressed weapon. This feature was missing from the previous release and sorely missed by fans. Its return is expected to bring a new level of strategy and immersion to the gameplay, encouraging a more dynamic and engaging experience.
Activision has made sure that “Modern Warfare III” offers an extensive selection of multiplayer maps. With 12 brand new maps and 16 updated maps from the 2009 game “Modern Warfare 2,” this collection is the largest ever seen in a Call of Duty game. Additionally, on launch day, players can look forward to large-scale maps designed for the Ground War, Invasion, and One War modes. This variety ensures that there is something for everyone, catering to different playstyles and preferences.
Conquer the Zombie Hordes
Fans of the Call of Duty Zombies mode will be thrilled to learn that “Modern Warfare III” introduces the largest zombies map in the franchise’s history. Players can team up with other squads to take on hordes of zombies, providing a challenging and thrilling cooperative experience. This addition expands the game’s replayability and offers a fresh take on the popular zombies mode that fans have come to love. November 10th, 2023 couldn’t come sooner!
