Apple has been ambitiously aiming to create beloved history with an all-new designed iPhone 15 Pro. The next-generation lineup of Apple Watches also looks promising and the tech giant is set to bring some of the much-awaited groundbreaking iPhone 15 Pro features to the fore.Â
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro features, the adoption of a USB-C port, the new design of the iPhone 15 Pro, and the improvements in camera technology promise to deliver an exciting upgrade for Apple enthusiasts. With just weeks to go until the official launch, tech enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await the unveiling of Apple’s latest creations.
The All-Screen iPhone: Apple iPhone 15 Pro
Apple’s quest for an all-screen iPhone, with no bezels or cutouts for cameras and sensors, began with the iPhone X in 2017. Though the screen extended to the edges at the top and bottom, a notch cutout remained at the top to house Face ID, the front-facing camera, speaker, and other sensors.
Over the years, Apple made soaring progress. 2020’s iPhone 12 had slightly thinner bezels compared to its predecessors, and the iPhone 13 Pro in 2021 reduced the size of the notch. The Dynamic Island, introduced last year replaced the notch, resulting in a miniature corner for the front-facing components.
With the iPhone 15, Apple is set to make two significant changes. The standard iPhone 15 models will replace the notch with the Dynamic Island, further maximizing the display area. Furthermore, the Pro and Pro Max variants will adapt to a new display technology called low-injection pressure overmolding (LIPO), which will reduce the border size around the screen to a mere 1.5mm.

Unveiling the New Features of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will retain a similar design to their predecessors. Although, the iPhone 15’s camera upgrade is major and it will be equipped with the powerful A16 chip from the iPhone 14 Pro line. Moreover, Apple has decided to swap out the Lightning connector for a more versatile USB-C improvement, enabling faster data transfer speeds.
The Pro models will sport a new design featuring premium titanium edges, replacing the stainless-steel edges prone to fingerprints. The transition to titanium marks Apple’s ongoing efforts to introduce the robust material to its flagship device.Â
Additionally, the edges that connect the side and front of the Pro models have been designed with smoother contours for a more comfortable grip. Inside the iPhone 15 Pro, the aluminum chassis has been revamped to align with the changes introduced in the regular iPhone 14, resulting in a phone that is easier to repair.
iPhone 15’s Camera Upgrades: Enhanced Camera Capabilities and Performance
Camera enthusiasts will find delight in the major rear camera upgrades featured in the iPhone 15 lineup. These upgrades include improved lenses and an impressive optical zoom range on the largest model.Â
The combination of hardware advancements and Apple’s renowned computational photography capabilities promises stunning photography and videography experiences.
To further enhance performance, the Pro models will be powered by a 3-nanometer chip, offering noticeable speed improvements. Unfortunately, one of the anticipated features, touch-sensitive buttons with haptic feedback for volume controls and the power button, codenamed “Bongo,” had to be abandoned due to engineering challenges and cost concerns. Instead, the mute/ring switch has been transformed into an “Action button,” which users can customize via software.
iPhone 15’s Price Increase: The Impact Is Global
While Apple’s new lineup is set to impress users worldwide, one potential downside could be iPhone 15’s price. Outside the US, at least minor price hikes are expected across all four models, and a price increase for some Pro models in the US seems likely due to the use of titanium and the advanced camera system on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
