AI-Powered exoskeletons are basically wearable robots that help users in motions that are usually hard to perform and have a high risk. Although there are many exoskeletons in the market that focus on enhancing your movement by increasing endurance and strength.
Exoskeletons currently available in the market mostly rely on motion sensors and joint movement, which are extracted and analysed by in-built LLM (Large language models).
Vigx Unveils π6 Exoskeleton for Hiking
Vigx launched π6 as an outdoor exoskeleton for increased endurance during hiking and walking with a terrain-sensing feature. It is an umbrella-sized wearable robot comfortable to wear for everyday outdoor activities like walking and hiking. π6 is a lightweight portable device, unlike other heavy exoskeletons, making it more consumer-friendly for daily use.

This device features motion sensors with an onboard camera and an AI processor to analyze the terrain in real time and deliver power before your feet touch ground. Company have claimed that this feature helps you improve stability on uneven surfaces and inclined slopes.
Although paper claims are always high-end, real-time experience counts for the honest review. Vigx has decided to offer the device in three configurations:
- Base
- Pro
- Ultra
As you can get from the names, configurations will have different or limited features based on their price criteria.
Which Configuration is Best For You?
The base model lacks the onboard camera, making it the least wanted configuration of the device. While the Base model has a 300W motor delivery and 10 Nm of torque, the Pro model features a camera and has better torque of 14 Nm. All three configurations weigh under 2km, making them all suitable lightweight choices.
The Ultra model has 800W of motor delivery and 16Nm torque, making it most preferable for high-intensity outdoor sessions like hiking.
Well, you will have to wait to try and test motor delivery as the company is planning for a commercial launch in June 2026.
