The launch of ZenFone 3 in India later this month will offer more specifications on the Snapdragon 821 processor. We will be able to have a closer look on the performance points offered by the latest CPU as compared to the previous one. We can also compare the efficiency of 821 processor in terms of energy with Snapdragon 820 processor.
The Snapdragon 820 processor has been dominant in the mobile industry since it was launched in the beginning of 2016. The processor powers more than 115 premium tablet and smartphone deployments. It supports the latest cutting-edge smartphone applications and helps develop more appealing user experience by deploying fresh and innovative techniques. You can take navigation in cars and safer driving as an example.
One of the major reasons behind the success of 820 processor is that it has unveiled a variety of latest technologies, which are all power optimized and closely integrated. The processor is designed to bring the innovation and user experience to the mobile industry. And, the surprising fact is that this not where innovation stops. The introduction of 821 processor is a way how the company is taking the innovation one step further.
Taking the note from the overnight success of the 820 processor, everyone was obvious that 821 processor was not far behind. The latest successor tier to Snapdragon 82x range is also known as MSM8996 Pro.
Arriving back at ASUS, the company has come a long way when it comes to design and specifications. Where previous models featured bodies made out of plastic, the revamped series arrives covered up in premium glass and aluminum material. The addition of Snapdragon 211 processor is just a chip on its shoulder.
The company has nothing to worry about when it comes to its sales because Asian markets have already reserved a place for it. ASUS is considered as one of the most popular Android smartphones in Asian markets. Sure, ASUS may not be mighty enough to take the leads against the sales of global dominants – Apple and Samsung, but the potential to drive great sales is very high.
The smartphone has been launched today in Hong Kong and Taiwan. It will be launched soon in the United States.
