Snapdragon 675 chipset powers the Samsung Galaxy A71 device. It features upgraded internals in the form of Snapdragon 730.
The Snapdragon 730 has two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.20GHz and six energy-efficient Cortex A55 cores that go up to 1.8GHz. There is also the Adreno 618 GPU, the Hexagon 688 DSP, which is built on the 8nm node and enables the Galaxy A71 to deliver better battery life than its predecessor. The device is equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. There is also a new variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage model.
One of the distinctive features of the Galaxy A71 is its battery life. The device runs on a 4500mAh battery and delivers more than a day usage consistently. The battery has 25W fast charging, with a 25W charger that comes along with the device. Users will get a 50% charge in 30 minutes, and a full charge would take around 80 minutes.
In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 has Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, A-GPS, and NFC. There is also a Category 15 LTE modem with 3x carrier aggregation, and the global variant has various LTE bands.

The new phone has a 64MP primary lens with a 12MP wide-angle shooter, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP portrait lens. The 64MP camera relies on the pixel binning to produce 16MP shots by default, and there is also a 32MP camera located at the front for selfie shots. The 12MP wide-angle camera also makes decent shots in detail and accurate colors. The A71 has excellent portrait photography quality in Live Focus mode. However, it doesn’t stand out well in low-light conditions.
