The action setup of the game is set in a land that is threatened by an intensely poisonous gas named Miasma. The player is a young hero who, along with a Moogle companion and three other friends. The player travels the world to look for rare and valuable liquid myrrh with the help of which, they can cleanse and maintain a crystal to protect the land.
The Remastered Edition of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game has modified features and fresh content. The visuals have also been upgraded, giving the game a new look and HD display. The audio too, is improved with added new voiceovers to bring the characters to life like never before. The remastered version also supports online multiplayer for the first time. The original version of the game required four GameBoy Advances and link cables to equip a full team in addition to people to have all that equipment. The present version can be played online more conveniently and seamlessly.
