When you want to buy a Smartphone, the market offers you a plethora of options. Yet when it comes to the purchase something as general as good quality wireless earbuds, the only brand that strikes a chord is AirPods. But if you want to try something other than Apple products, you can take a look at Jabra Elite 65t, a recently released pair of wireless earbuds. They do what they are meant to do.
Presently available at $149.99, Jabra Elite 65t are engineered for a spot on wireless call connectivity and music experience. They are reliable as their batteries do not drain out time and again. In addition, their built is durable enough for daily use. The wireless earbuds sit precisely in the ears and do not slip out with sweating.
Jabra Elite 65t Performance
Jabra, a leading manufacturer of Bluetooth headsets and audio gears, has given the IP55-rated design to Elite 65t. This makes the earbuds splash resistant (not waterproof) as well as dust resistant. Compared to previous editions of Elite earbuds, Elite 65t has a refined look and mature design. Though the recent Elite edition earbuds are made of plastic, they stay secured on the ears even during a stretched time period or while running too.
The four-microphone technology in Elite 65t reduces the wind noise during a call or listening to music. This is a much-needed feature in earbuds, specifically for commuters. There is also an option to let in some external voice if need be.
The Elite wearer can customize sound equalizers through Jabra Sound +app, available on iOS and Android. To be true, the stereo listening experience is just a pleasure on these mini wireless headphones.
These 6mm wireless earbuds have 5 hours of battery life on a single charge. It can be extended further with 2 charging cases provided in the box. In total, Jabra Elite 65t can operate for 15 continuous hours, which is good enough. Besides this, 15 minutes of charging gives 1.5 hours of a lifeline to the earbuds. This is quite fast!
Controls on Wireless Earbuds
Both the earbuds have different sets of controls. The left earbud houses a rocker for balancing the volume. A long press on the same button allows the wearer to skip or go to a previous track.
On the other side, the right side earbud features a single button that allows answering calls, playing/pausing music, or activating the voice assistant with a long press. It also acts like a power button with a further long press.
Jabra’s wireless gadget can connect to all voice assistants – Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. The wireless earbuds allow the wearer to obtain relevant information from them, for instance, meeting time, grocery list.
Unlike Elite Active edition, Elite 65t does not feature heart rate monitor. This is generally done to save the battery life.
Interestingly, the Jabra Elite 65t wireless earbuds switch on as they are taken out of the charging case. Similarly, they switch off when pushed inside the case.
Overall Jabra Elite 65t is a truly wireless headphone set that can be picked for daily use. If plastic material is given a miss, these wireless earbuds sit perfectly in the ears even for long hours. Justifying a slightly high price, the Jabra’s wireless gadget obtains green tick marks on sound quality and wireless connectivity.
