With so many wireless headphones to choose from, it’s hard to narrow down into the list on the perfect wireless gaming headphones. But Technowize will give it a shot. In the latest Logitech G Pro X Wireless review, Technowize found that the wireless headset is a clear winner when it comes to excellent sound quality and comfort.
Logitech Pro X has a sturdy build and excellent audio quality. The headset is one of the premium gaming headsets. The banding is made of metal, with memory foam padding towards the top. The padding is neatly covered faux leather. The bands lead to actual earcups, made of hard plastic with the Logitech ‘G’ logo printed on each side. The headset is an all-black color and is one of the sleekest gaming headsets ever seen. On the left ear side, there are buttons and dials. There is a USB-C port for charging, a power switch, volume dial and color-coded mute button.
There are two sets of earpads that come in the box. The leatherette ones are preinstalled, but Logitech has included another breathable velour pads along with the other. The leatherette pads are more well sealed, but the velour one is lighter and breathable. The G Pro X headset is snug, and not too tight, which is perfect for gaming. The headset weighs 11.3 ounces (338 grams). The microphone is detachable. Suppose a person is into multiplayer gaming, streaming or in a meeting. In that case, the microphone can be attached to the left cup or can be popped out for better music listening, watching a movie or playing a single-player game.
Instead of a Bluetooth connection setup, Logitech has the 2.4GHz wireless connection through a dongle. This setup gives a much better gaming experience. The headset is powered with 7.1 surround sound through 50mm drivers, which makes gives a real game buildup experience to the user. The Logitech device depreciates in terms of its microphone. The mic is removable, but the sound is a bit sharp. Logitech also has the Blue Vo!ce software to boost the audio input quality, which results in the excellent audio.
The Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed doesn’t have many unique features, but the headset alone justifies the price with its reliable build quality and audio fidelity. The 7.1 surround sound of the headset is the best implementation of the audio technology that is ever seen. The sound of the leather cups is better than the velour ones, as they seal the ear better. However, for a long session of gaming and listening to music, the velour ear cups are more comfortable.
One of the notable specifications of the headset is the Blue Voice feature, which uses software presets and adjustable settings to give clarity and crispness invoice. There are also advanced options like an adjustable EQ, a high-pass filter and a de-esser to prevent any high-frequency disturbances. There is also an equalizer with presets for FPS and MOBAs for compelling listening.
The Logitech G Pro X is priced at $129.99 with a carrying case, leather and velour earpads, PC cables, phone cables, a PC Y splitter, and the Blue Voice technology. The Logitech G Pro is priced at $99.99 in the same design, but without any velour earpads, Blue Voice, phone cable or 3D audio features.
