The Herculean software company, Microsoft’s new strategy to collect users from its cloud-based assistance progressed to bloom recently due to better and improved offers on the wearable space.
The newest update to Outlook on the iOS platform increases the flexibility and performance of email application on an interface of Apple Watch. The Cupertino digital timepiece users will have an easy time to go through their own emails on the wrist, and they can revert back to messages by clicking on the notification symbol. This opens a true-to-the-end Outlook application for Apple Watch and allows the users to experience a pre-formatted revert or drafting a new message.
Microsoft has worked quite hard this time to ensure that their products are supported on the Apple Watch, OneDrive, OneNote and Skype. These have been integrated in recent weeks with Microsoft’s Outlook applications, Sunrise, Wunderlist and Yammer.
iOS and Android for Windows 10 compatibility
Android users should not fret over this, as Microsoft will be providing applications for wearable Google’s operating system, which will include OneDrive, note commands via OneNote, and Microsoft translator on the wrist.
The common factor of all the applications is the cloud. It will require the customer to have a Microsoft Account and use Microsoft’s cloud services.
Cortana, the digital personal assistant of Microsoft will now be running on Android devices. Currently, it is in beta form but by the end of the year 2015 it will be released for public.
Satya Nadella has focused on the modern world where Microsoft is no longer at the top position. They have focused on making their products and applications to be tough, competent, combative, scrappy and credible.
The introduction of Cortana to the world of Android is yet another strong drive of the company to the digital world in a successful attempt of regaining its position back in the market. The real value of cloud services by Microsoft can be figured out through the number of users that iOS and Android are providing.
The past generations had an easy access to the volume required by users through its own platform of operating system. That is no longer significant. Users have found a base on different platforms which will not be under the control of Redmond. This means that the company can go anywhere, where all the users are, and to incline them just as any other developer does.
