Searching for the perfect match isn’t an easy task! Getting a partner who matches the preferences, likes, dislikes and everything and then being compatible with one another- this is a damn strenuous task. However, this task is made simpler by smartphones. When advancement in technology has brought about developments in every field, it has made finding a partner easier through ‘dating apps.’

Church’s DNA matching app is not the first one in the market. Pheramor, another app-based on DNA matching, was launched in 2018.
Mobile devices have made dating, hook-ups and long-term relationships easier through dating and social network sites. Users can easily download a dating app, register an account and get the perfect match online. We list out the top 6 dating apps available today:
Dating Apps for Relationships
Tinder
Tinder is a swipe and scroll dating app, and you need to create a profile with a handful of photos and a few lines about yourself. The app will bring potential matches from the area. If you like a match, swipe the picture towards the right; otherwise, swipe towards the left. If both you and the match swipe right, you will be able to send the person messages and set a meeting or a date. Tinder has a looping video feature along with a geolocation feature-where by the app will show profiles based on the area distance you preferred. There is also a Safety Center feature Tinder added in January which hat ties into the Noonlight app and also provides a panic button for situations when you may end up on a date in an unsafe area or condition. The Safety Center feature is added, taking into consideration the fact that millions of people meet strangers through the app in real life.
Bumble
Bumble allows users to set up dates and make new friends in nearby areas. With this app, the female should make the first move after two people have mutually connected and are a part of each other’s hive. Bumble gives only 24 hours to make contact; otherwise, the connection would disappear forever. If you are the one looking for only friendship and not a relationship at all, Bumble has a BFF feature, and there is also a section for business contacts and connections. Bumble also added a video and voice chat feature which appears once both partners have connected.
OkCupid
This is one of the popular dating sites with many users from across the world. OkCupid regularly keeps on adding new features to its app, the recent being “Flavors” system which allows users to look into evocative flavors of their potential matches, like Kinky Nerds, Beard Lovers, World Travelers and many more. OkCupid’s has several facilities and features like messaging option, personality quizzes, and Instagram integration
Match.com
This app offers a free dating experience where users can create their profiles, add their pictures and engage in some online flirting with “winks”. Match.com also brings in new matches to the profiles daily. The app allows users to know who checked their profile or liked photos, though this facility comes when the user has subscribed to the app. The app also has added many new features like Tinder-like Mixer, Android Wear, and Apple Watch integration, as well as voice and video snippets to a user’s profile. There is also a safety feature in Match.com, which lets users alert in an unsafe situation.
Facebook Dating
Facebook Dating helps users find long-term relationships and not hook-ups. The Dating section can be accessed from Facebook’s mobile app by creating a Dating profile that is separate from the regular Facebook profile. After a profile is created, Facebook would find matches for the user based on the preferences, interests, and activities on the Facebook site. However, Facebook won’t suggest matches to people who are already on the friend list of the user, unless the person uses the Secret Crush feature where they can select up to nine Facebook friends or Instagram followers they have interest on. If the so-called person also expresses interest through the Secret Crush feature, Facebook will match both partners.
Happn
Happn app is about the connections a user is familiar with and might have found interested and share common interests. It is a location-based dating service and highlights profiles of other Happn users who users know from before. A user can like any profiles that feature; if both partners like each other, the app gives an option to connect.
