The drone trend is spreading like fire in the woods not only in the tech sector but also among laymen. People are using drones to capture a holiday with their loved ones. Companies are using this device for advertisement and many other such purposes. The e-commerce giant Amazon.com Inc. has announced to use this technology for something even more worthwhile. A set of drones will be used for the purpose of Amazon delivery. These delivery drones will be trained in such a manner that the parcel is delivered to the customer’s doorstep. Now the company is eagerly awaiting the permission from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The next step which the company is currently working upon is setting up a system as to launch drones to make deliveries in the nearby areas. This resulted in the planning of creating the necessary infrastructure for the same. Amazon is in the process of making stable progress when it comes to the design of the Prime Air flying machine. This will serve as the apparatus to take the parcels from one place to another. But a drone always has the limitation of time or distance. In order to curb this problem and make Amazon delivery widespread, the delivery drones were incorporated.

Amazon is planning to approach the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the permission for multi-purpose mobile facilities.
Latest patent for the Amazon delivery drones
To set out drones for delivery, Amazon has come up with a new concept. The e-commerce giant has designed a unique beehive tower from which these drones will be launched. This beehive drone tower will soon be set up in a busy urban area. The tower will be capable of managing a number of drone deliveries all at once to various parts of the city. Along with this, Amazon is planning to approach the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the permission for multi-purpose mobile facilities. These facilities can be useful for launching delivery drones and making Amazon delivery one of the most efficient ones.
Such mobile facilities will not only launch drones but will also be capable of maintaining them. The main purpose behind this concept of mobile facilities is to make delivery drones commuted faster to certain areas which have a request for rapid delivery. Such a facility will be on a ship, train, or any other vehicle from where the drone will take off to reach the accurate address. The launch or landing of a drone can take place even if the vehicle is moving. These vehicles will have experts to repair the drones if the need arises. If this idea materializes, then it might change the face of Amazon delivery.
