Are you guilty of being a hardcore fan of the Netflix show – Orange Is The New Black? If so, you would be thrilled to lock yourself in jail and stuff yourself with prison Nutraloaf, won’t you? Don’t worry, you won’t need to commit a crime to get that experience, you would just require to sign up for Litchfield Penitentiary Cafeteria. This themed event will let you experience the life of your favorite prisoners from the show and have the food that they are served at the prison (read Litchfield Penitentiary) cafeteria. While you might not want to have the experience of consuming the prison food, in this case, you don’t need to worry because the food will just look like something that’s served in prisons, it won’t taste that awful.

Orange is the new black

As the Season 4 of Orange Is The New Black is coming to Netflix on 17th of June, Netflix is here with a prison-dining experience for two days i.e. June 16 and 17 at the OverEasy diner located at the Orchard Road, Singapore. This event is to promote the show among people who are addicted to the Orange Is The New Black series and to get noticed by people who are not already aware of the most popular show on Netflix.

The themed event will serve food that will be made by Chef Bjorn Shen from Artichoke and Bird Bird. Without a doubt, the food that would be made by Bjorn Shen would  first be approved by Galina “Red” Reznikoy. If you are a fan of this Netflix show, you can book your seats at Chope, which describes the event as follows:

Welcome to the Litchfield Penitentiary Cafeteria, where the bad (but totally innocent) women of Orange is the New Black congregate to eat, hang and get mouthy.

For TWO DAYS ONLY on June 16 and 17, get your COMPLIMENTARY fill of Litchfield grub for the very first time in Singapore. Come meet your fellow inmates, wait in line and stay hydrated with a tall plastic cup of our refreshing house beverage: water. The lunch-mates you’ll make here can make or break your stay, so choose your seat wisely. Oh, and don’t eat the pudding.

So get in line and experience the real side of OITNB. And do not under any circumstance criticise your food unless you want to be second-guessing the hygiene standards of your next meal.

Well, Bjorn Shen would be serving his own version of the infamous Nutraloaf. Don’t be scared, this Nutraloaf will be different from the one served in prison, which may taste better, or at least have a taste of its own!

Just Remember: Don’t insult the chef or the food or the fellow prisoners (I mean fellow diners)! Doing that may cause you some serious trouble. You don’t want to have the most unhygienic meal of your lifetime, do you?
