Apple’s 2018 version of iPhone X will be called iPhone Xs Max, according to the latest rumor. The new iPhone X is due to be launched during Apple’s most hyped event of the year slated for September 12, 2018.
What’s more to look forward to the event? It is said that there are two more iPhone models on the agenda and a refreshed edition of Apple Watch 4.
The event will be organized at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in California.
Apple New iPhone X Models
The Apple aficionados will get to see the three new iPhone X models in the company’s 2018 September event. First one will be similar to existing iPhone X but with upgraded configuration, dubbed iPhone Xs. This phone will feature a 5.8-inch OLED screen and is estimated to be available for approximately $999.
The second device is a larger version of the new iPhone Xs, named iPhone Xs Max, according to 9to5Mac. With the introduction of this new iPhone model, Apple will foray into the 6.5-inch sized device market this year. It’s a much-expected step to be taken by the Cupertino giant, in light of the ever-growing market of bigger-sized mobile devices.
Bloomberg earlier reported that Apple is trying to get rid of ‘Plus’ for bigger editions of iPhone devices.
Lastly, it is predicted that the Apple 2018 iPhone X line up will include an affordable phone, priced somewhere between $500 and $700 and featuring a 6.1-inch LCD screen with facial recognition technology.

iPhone Xs Rumored Specifications
9to5Mac further reported that the new iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max might include 4GB RAM – up from 3GB in the predecessor, dual SIM support in select markets, and a new chip, A12, to boost the processing speed.
The new 6.5-inch iPhone X model will have a resolution of 2688 x 1242 whereas the 5.8-inch iPhone Xs will 2436 x 1125 resolution cited MacRumors. Both the Xs phones will be equipped with 12MP dual-lens camera, durable stainless steel frame and storage space of about 512GB.
The leaked images of new iPhone Xs also suggest that the innovation giant is planning to introduce new phones in gold color, in addition to silver and space gray.
All the new iPhone Xs models will boast an ‘edge-to-edge’ display and powerful tiny notch housing TrueDepth Camera which will put an end to Touch ID Home button in the Apple’s high-end phones.
New LCD iPhone Specifications
The new affordable iPhone series will feature a 1792 x 828 LCD display along with an aluminum body, a single 12MP rear camera, and 3GB RAM.
It’s not known when Apple will release any of the models in the market. However, over the years, the company has put all the new smartphones on pre-orders post the launched ceremony held in September.
