Amazfit GTS 2 and Amazfit GTR 2 fitness trackers are sure to mark your fitness regimes accurately. From blood oxygen to heart rate measures, everything is covered in these small but efficient devices.
The GTR 2 and GTS 2 devices were launched in early November and are best with health and fitness tracking app. They also have superb monitoring features like blood oxygen (SpO2) levels and heart rate tracking. The battery life of both devices is excellent. The Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2 have impressive high pixeled AMOLED displays and useful health tracking features, all available at a reasonable price.
Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 : Good
Both the devices have vibrant AMOLED displays where users can adjust their brightness based on the room’s lighting around them. There is a 454 x 454 resolution with 326 PPI on the 1.39″ GTR 2 and 348 x 442 resolution with 341 PPI on the 1.65″-tall GTS 2. Each watch is banded by a silicone strap that can resist water and sweat without sopping it up. The watch has an aluminum casing and is comfortable to wear all day.
The GTR 2 and GTS 2 have a touchscreen for navigation, a side button on the GTS 2 variant, and two side buttons on the GTR 2 variant. The buttons are the most helpful in managing the functionalities of the smartwatch. The additional button on GTR 2 button helps to check the workout menus and to select an activity. In terms of design, the GTR 2 is more attractive because of the buttons on the diagonal.

The GTR 2 and GTS 2 will soon get in-built Alexa support, and the voice command feature is efficient to use. Users can also give commands when they are offline. There are also in-built mics that help answer calls when the smartwatch is synced with the phone through Bluetooth. The Zepp app for iOS and Android users displays a detailed report of the wearer’s health data.
The reports include a PAI fitness score. There are also tracking menus to give immediate and detailed reports. One can also check maps to see how much they ran or how many miles they covered in the day.
The Zepp “Store” also enables the wearer to select from various home screens and digital faces. The smartwatches have a 5 ATM water resistance capacity. However, the best features of the GTR 2 and GTS 2 is their battery. It gives a week’s battery capacity with regular usage, though it drains faster if connected on the continuous heart rate report or the SPO2 tracking enabled feature.

The major drawback of the GTR 2 and GTS 2 is its navigation that users would find a tad difficult for the first few days. Certain features of the smartwatch-like settings page and weekly forecast highlight texts both in English and Mandarin language. The smartwatches don’t have any third-party apps like Spotify or Strava, and users will have to rely solely on Zepp.
While the smartwatch’s voice command feature is excellent, the one drawback is that wearers may have to perform the wrist movement a few times for the device to register.
