Apple gets plenty of love from its customers as one of the most valuable brands in the world. If you’re wondering how Apple commands such an authoritative presence in the mind of the modern customer, then you’re at the right place. From time to time, Apple likes to dump features that consumers don’t necessarily like. Some are even controversial.

The removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack from Apple’s iPhone 7 is touted as one of the most controversial moves in smartphone history. In Apple’s defense, the 3.5mm jack is nothing but a 50-year-old common audio connector that can be removed for better, modern features.
The following year, the beautiful iPhone X launched with one BIG SURPRISE: NO Home Button. (A move Samsung copied, like always!) This marked the end of the fingerprint sensors as it got replaced by 3D Face Recognition system known as Face ID. And now, Apple plans to axe the Lightning port from the upcoming iPhone 12 or iPhone 2020 lineups.
iPhone 12 will have no lightning port, claims Apple insider
According to well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the upcoming Apple iPhone 12 (or 2020 and 2021 iPhone lineups) won’t have any ports. This means that Apple is ready to offer its customers a completely wireless experience.
This new feature can make wireless charging become possible and offer a convenient mode to recharge the battery of smartphones. The era of buying new mobile chargers and spending money on buying them, again and again, will come to an end.
Apple iPhone 2020 will be also lighter and compact
It is also claimed by Kuo and various other experts that the new age Apple iPhones will be released in different shapes and sizes wherein the efforts will be made to make it lighter and compact. Apple is already working on developing an iPhone which looks like a single sheet of glass. This Technology News will also prove to be another milestone in which a completely new way of using smartphones will enter the market. The additional feature of no port will make the smartphones more impressive, useful, durable, compact and highly useful.

The Apple iPhone 12 release date should be around late 2020 or early 2021. In between, Apple plans to introduce six more smartphones in the market which will come with additional features.
iPhone 12 is rumored to include Qualcomm’s new and improved Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor. The second-gen 3D Sonic Max, unveiled at the annual Snapdragon Tech Summit, comes with two-finger authentication, better speed, ease of use, and a larger area.
