The NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card is finally released, and by the looks of it, one can say that it would be an insanely powered graphics card. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 would be the flagship offering of NVIDIA in the Ampere gaming graphics card lineup and features a massive cooling design.

As per the leak, the NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 is the next in the lineup to the GeForce RTX 2080. It is a massive card with a triple-slot form factor. NVIDIA is going all the way out with its Founders Edition design on the higher end Ampere GPU based graphics cards such as the powerful GeForce RTX 3090.

GeForce RTX 3090

The GeForce RTX 3090 is a triple-slot behemoth with dual axial-tech fans placed on the front and back in a push-and-pull configuration. The front side has exposed heatsink blocks with several fins placed on top of the PCB. The aluminum bar in the card helps reinforce the shroud and even has a mini NVIDIA logo etched on its metal frame. The backside of the card has a backplate in matte black color and the aluminum bar that reinforces the shroud. As the GPU card features GDDR6X memory on the backside, there is a fan to keep the thermals under check.

GeForce RTX 3090 Series Leaked

The card, as of now, is in an early test phase. The Founders Edition design of the card will also feature over 20 power chokes, which is included in a more superior design than the flagship non-reference RTX 20 series cards. The leak also suggests pricing of $1400 US for the Founders Edition graphics card. Some of the earlier rumors stated that the RTX 3090 card pricing would start at $1399 US while the Founders Edition would cost an extra $100 US for $1499 US. However, this remains to be confirmed, though the card would be slightly more expensive than the RTX 2080 Ti.

Graphic Card Nvidia

As per the leaks, the GeForce RTX 3090 will feature the GA102-300-A1 GPU. The GA102-300-A1 GPU will have 5248 CUDA cores or 82 SMs. This is a 20% increase in cores in comparison to the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. In terms of memory, leaks suggested that the card would have 24 GB memory with faster GDDR6X pin speeds. This means it would offer nearly speeds of 1 TB/s bandwidth.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 ‘Ampere’ Gaming graphics card series is expected to launch on 1st September at a digital event. There are also expectations that there would be the launch of three new graphics cards in the digital event, including the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (or RTX 3090), GeForce RTX 3080 with a next-generation Titan card.
