New York University (NYU) is a private, nonsectarian American research college situated in New York City. Founded in 1831, NYU is one of the biggest private non-benefit institutions of American higher education. NYU is formed from a variety of institutions which include, more than twenty schools, universities, and institutes, located in six centers all through Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn. The University also established NYU Abu Dhabi, NYU Shanghai, and keeps up with 11 other Global Academic Centers in Paris, London, Prague, Florence, Beunos Aires, Accra, Berlin, Madrid, Tel Aviv, and Washington, D.C.

NYU Tandon School of Engineering is one of the schools and colleges that make up for New York University (NYU). Established in 1854, the school is the second oldest private engineering and technology school in the United States. Educational modules depends on a polytechnic university model emphasizing guideline of specialized arts and applied sciences. The school's main campus is in Brooklyn's MetroTech Center, an urban business and education center in Downtown Brooklyn, New York City.
