Oppo recently launched its first smartwatch, the Oppo Watch. The Oppo Watch is much similar to Apple Watch, with neat tricks and specifications. The Oppo Watch comes in two sizes, the  41mm and the 46mm. These versions are based on a custom version of ColorOS, and are tailored for the smartwatches and are based on Google’s Wear OS. The Oppo Watch comes with an AMOLED display and supports the Watch VOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology. It also comes up eSIM support and 5ATM water resistance rating.

The Oppo Watch 41mm version is priced at around Rs. 15,000 and is available in three colour options – black, gold, and silver and has fluoro rubber strap options. The Oppo Watch 46mm version is available in two material choices, the aluminium model in black and gold colours with fluoro rubber straps and is priced at around Rs. 20,000. The Oppo Watch also has a stainless steel variant available in a single silver case with an Italian calf leather skin strap and is priced at around Rs. 25,000.  Oppo Watch Features and Specifications

The Oppo Watch has a curved flexible AMOLED display and two physical buttons located on the side. The 41mm variant comes in a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 320×360 pixels resolution, while the 46mm model has a larger 1.91-inch display with 402×476 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. The Oppo Watch has a custom Oppo’s ColorOS skin version explicitly created for smartwatches and based on Wear OS. The Oppo Watch is compatible only with Android phones. The Oppo Watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC, though there is an Apollo co-processor as well. It switches from Qualcomm chip to the Apollo chip when in need of power. The Watch can also track several workouts and is backed with an AI-based fitness regime feature. The 46mm variant has a 5ATM water resistance rating, while the 41mm option is rated 3ATM. There is also an advanced sleep monitoring algorithm to track sleep patterns as well as a 24×7 heart rate monitoring tool.

One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo Watch is eSIM support. The users can opt for linking their existing number or independently can use the eSIM facility located on the Oppo Watch with a different number. Additionally, there is a music playback feature for users too. The 41mm Oppo Watch has a 300mAh battery, while the 46mm model comes in a 430mAh unit. There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage packed inside the devices.

The Oppo Watch is backed with the Watch VOOC Flash Charge technology which enables the faster charging in just 75 minutes, while mere 15 minutes of charging will provide enough power for Oppo Watch to last around 18 hours. The sensors on the Oppo Watch include accelerometer, gyroscope, barometric pressure sensor, compass, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, and a well-equipped capacitance sensor.
