Samsung Chromebook Plus V2: Built to Magnify Creative Expressions

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. brings Samsung Chromebook Plus V2, the second edition of the Chromebook Plus launched the previous year. The new Chromebook Plus V2 houses few upgraded features and a faster processor compared to its predecessor.

Samsung, the leader in the premium Chromebook market, has put a focus on enhancing the communication experience of the target market. Since this is the world of capturing pictures and communicating more via creative expressions, the Chromebook Plus V2 is packed with a rear camera.

“Today’s consumers want to be able to maximize their communication while also expressing their creativity wherever they are, and the new Samsung Chromebook Plus fulfills that need,” said Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Samsung.

Based on Chrome OS, Samsung’s latest portable device replaces the earlier ARM processor to an upgraded Intel Celeron processor and Intel HD Graphic card. This must result in faster productivity and better picture quality.

Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 facilitates multi-device connectivity and easy file sharing feature between the laptop and mobile devices.

Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 Design

Measuring 11.34 inc. long x 8.19 inc. broad x 0.63-7.0 inc. high, the new Samsung Chromebook weighs 2.91 pounds. It is a 2-in-1 portable device that can convert into a touchscreen tablet simply by folding the laptop by 360 degrees.

While holding Chromebook Plus V2, its curved edges offer strong grip. Moreover, the new design presents curved-cap keyboard that resists spills 60cc.

Along with the Google cloud storage, Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 owns 4GB RAM and a 32GB in-built storage space that can be stretched up to 400GB with a microSD card.

Chromebook Plus V2: Modified Display

The display is encompassed in 12.2 inc. screen size. Samsung favored a graphics resolution of 1920×1080 for the latest Chromebook, whereas Chromebook Plus featured 2400 × 1600 resolution.  The new Chromebook Plus V2 features 16:10 aspect ratio compared to 3:2 in the previous edition. The modified display specifications will provide better quality visuals and result in extended battery life.

Chromebook Plus V2: Enhanced Creativity

Stylus

The in-built stylus is redesigned for a firm grip and compliment the curved design of the Chromebook Plus V2. It can handle the pressure up to 4,000 level of sensitivity. The stylus is battery-free and hence the owner can use it to precisely crop a picture, sign a document, edit an idea or even zoom in small text.

Camera

The new Samsung Chromebook Plus (2018) can now behave like your personal magnified camera. The company has fixed a 13MP rear camera with autofocus on it along with a 1MP webcam. Flip the Samsung Chromebook into a tablet and start capturing pictures at any moment.
