The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is the premium variant of the Galaxy flagships, topping all digital offerings from the Korean tech company in a Smartphone. Samsung has included almost everything you could ask for, making the smartphone a top choice for anyone that can afford it. Its massive display and bold design is a significant feature depicting superiority, though not just the only thing separating it from the Galaxy S10 and cheaper Galaxy S10e.

Galaxy S10 Plus Design and features

The Galaxy S10+ typically defines the thin line between tablets and smartphones. It’s arguably a redefinition of a model ‘phablet,’ featuring a 6.4-inch screen with in-screen notch. Thanks to Samsung’s new Infinity-O-display. The new notch pattern created an oval-shaped hole in the display, just enough to accommodate two cameras, drawing more attention on the screen than those of the Galaxy S10 and S10e with a single lens. It’s quite impressive sitting at the top-right corner of the Super AMOLED panel as Samsung’s response to the cutout in iPhone XS Max. The Galaxy S10+ screen size stretches from the thin bottom chin up to the top speaker, covering the edges to the right and left to hand the Smartphone a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio.

Underneath the screen is an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, this means you will need to blindly hit the phone since it has no physical sensor pad. On the back of the Galaxy S10, which now looks cleaner, is a small bump housing its triple-lens camera. The camera supports telephoto, new ultra-wide and normal photos. Also on the back is the reverse wireless charging feature, aka Wireless PowerShare. This allows you to wirelessly charge the smartphone’s buds or another Qi-compatible smartphone by simply placing them against the back.

Other features separating the Galaxy S10 Plus from its fellow S variants this year is its beefier 4,100mAh battery capacity and a cooling system with over the vapor chamber borrowed from Note 9. This feature enables the Galaxy S10+ ideal for long gaming sessions.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus price and release date

The Galaxy S10 price starts at $999, which is actually more expensive than the S9 Plus. Of course, that’s why Samsung is offering the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10e for an exit. The Galaxy S10 release date is March 8, a week earlier than the time it released the S9 Plus.

Early verdict

As said earlier, the Galaxy S10 Plus is loaded with lots of features and boldly built. Its 64-inch screen is the same size Note 9, but the new in-screen notch and less bezel bumped the screen-to-body ratio – a cool plus. The invisible fingerprint sensor and Wireless PowerShare feature are top techs. The quality of pictures from both the front-facing and the triple-lens rear cameras make the Smartphone a top choice. But Samsung is asking for a lot of money.
