Samyang Optics recently announced an AF 35mm F1.8 FE large-aperture prime wide-angle lens to their Tiny Series lens series. The compact-sized and lightweight New AF 35mm, F1.8 FE lens, is a large-aperture prime lens that gives efficient mobility and convenience for capturing subjects like everyday shots, food photography, cityscapes, landscapes, and many more. The new lens gives a corner-to-corner image quality from a maximum F1.8 aperture and enhanced autofocus and tenacious tracking performance. It is a perfect lens for both still photography and video shooting. The small size of the lens is also best suited to APS-C and full-frame bodies. The lens gives a 52.5mm equivalent focal length that is perfect for snaps.
The new Samyang Rokinyon AF 35mm F1.8 FE is a perfect lens for street photography. It features a focal length that is best for this kind of photoshoot. The classic focal length on a full-frame camera will also give a wide viewing angle to click pictures and get everything on the frame. The lens has a large F1.8 maximum aperture, weighs just 210g, and measures 65.0 mm (in diameter) by 63.5mm (in length).
The optical construction with the aspherical element of the AF 35mm is perfect for suppressing aberration and producing high-resolution photos in the entire image frame. The 9-blade circular aperture also enables beautiful bokeh. The lens has the Custom Switch, which makes shooting and operating it simpler. Photographers can easily select different functions like Aperture Control Mode from the Switch and enjoy the shooting mode according to their preference. More functions on the lens are expected through a firmware update in the future.
The Autofocus feature not only is accurate at capturing images but is also quiet and smooth. The lens has the newly researched and developed Linear STM (Stepping Motor), a larger and heavier focus lens group that can be controlled effectively and gives excellent image quality in photos and videos.
The new Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 FE, Tiny Series lens, has weather sealing protection from dust, light rain, and snow and can capture incredible images in less than perfect conditions. Additionally, the lens’s AF/MF switch will enable photographers always to capture the most delicate details of the surroundings.  The new lens weighs a mere 7.4 oz (210 g), making it 25% lighter than Sony’s e-mount 35mm f/1.8. The lens is priced at $399 and way cheaper than other competitive models in the genre.
