Screenless fitness tracker bands were a hit during CES 2026 in the wearables section. Devices like Luna Band and Speediance strap stole the spotlight with the advanced features, along with no subscription fees. There is no doubt that 2026 is going to be a year of screen-free fitness trackers.
Joining the race, a smartwatch maker company accidentally leaked its first fitness band on its official website. However, the update was removed from all the websites soon after the leak. As rumored, this fitness tracker band is expected to be released by late 2026.
Garmin Leaks Its First Fitness Band
While leaks generally come from third parties or insiders, Garmin accidentally leaked its own upcoming wearable device. On January 26, the CIRQA product-specific page appeared on the regional website of the company. A few related posts were also present on the subreddit of Garmin, which was later removed following the removal of the product page from the website.

This page appeared on the Garmin regional websites, including Canada, the US, and Brazil. Rumors of a new fitness device were already doing the rounds in the market, which seems to be confirmed by recent leaks.
What is the CIRQA Band?
The details about CIRQA remain unclear, but the leaks suggest it will be a screenless band tracker, giving the rival to big brand names like Whoop and Oura. The only data we have by now is that CIRQA will be sold in two different sizes, like S and M. The product page also confirmed that the CIQRA will be launched in black and French Grey wear.
The launch and rollout of the new fitness device is expected to start in mid-2026.
Will Discreet Fitness Trackers Rule the Wearable Industry?
Discreet fitness trackers are the best example of simple and trendy accessories that allow you to limit screen time without compromising on fitness tracking. Gen Z likes devices that scream minimal and aesthetic. Several screen-free fitness trackers have entered the market in the last few months, proving the growing demand for these devices.
However, we will have to wait for the CIRQA launch to know if it will be able to race ahead of its rival. Whoop has created an ecosystem of its screenless device and categorizes it as high-end because of the high price. While a few bands are budget-friendly and subscription-free, they lack significant features.
Garmin can turn the market with the right price range and valuable subscription, providing a worthy set of features for the user.
