Android fans are eager to see and check out the Nothing OS, and to compare it to its many rivals. Rumor has it that the company will offer free OS upgrades for three years and security patches for four years, in a bid to take on established rivals like Google.
The first preview of Nothing OS will be released by the company via the launcher sometime in April and available for download on select smartphone models. However, it did not specify which models will be compatible to run the download. More details about the OS and the phone itself will be released to the general public in the coming months. Experts believe that the Nothing Phone (1) will feature the Snapdragon processor as Qualcomm is a major investor in the business. Despite receiving no confirmation from the technology firm, experts expect to see the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as most Android phones released or scheduled for release in 2022 will be opting for this processor.
This is the second product in development from the company. So far, Nothing has released the ear (1) Bluetooth earbuds. The Nothing earbuds made its debut in 2021.
