After launching in China a few weeks ago, Huawei is ready to release it’s luxury Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition in various markets worldwide as promised. The Huawei Watch Ultimate Design is made with high-end premium materials. The design is created using titanium, zirconium liquid metal, sapphire glass and 18K and 24K gold.
The luxury Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition by Huawei was recently on display at a launch event for the Mate X7 smartphone in Dubai after China.
Premium Huawei Watch Ultimate Design
Huawei it seems has revived the ultra-premium smartwatch line with the release of Watch Ultimate Design in its home market. Just two months before the release of this premium watch, Huawei launched Watch Ultimate 2. Huawei watch is detailed with 18-carat gold.

According to Huawei, the Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition is “a crown jewel on the wrist”. The watch has a predominantly purple design, and has a 12-sided ceramic bezel, with details using 18K and 24K gold. The casing of the watch is made with a zirconium-based liquid metal, and Huawei has used a matching purple titanium alloy strap with 24K gold plating.
Having a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels Huawei’s premium Watch Ultimate Design also has maximum brightness of 3,500 candela per square meter with waterproofing 150m (20 ATM). For protecting the watch screen, it uses a sapphire glass, and the watch measures 48.3 x 48.3 x 12.9 mm (~1.90 x 1.90 x 0.51 inches) and weighs 80.9 g (~2.85 oz).

There are many faces that users can choose from and some are exclusive just for this model. Of the many Huawei Watch Ultimate features: eSIM calling with a noise-cancelling function, local music storage, and one can make contactless payments. There is the GPS navigation with LTE, UWB, BeiDou satellite connectivity. Golf Course Mode in few regions and it supports smart gestures. It is suitable for diving as the water resistant is 150 m as stated above.
The health features include ECG and monitoring skin temperature.

The luxury watch uses Huawei’s own Kirin W80 chipset for power. This means that it can provide 11 days of battery life in power-saving mode and 2.5 to 3 days with the always-on display enabled.
Huawei Watch Ultimate Price and Availability
Huawei Watch Ultimate ‘Extraordinary Master Purple Gold’ edition is priced at a jaw-dropping CNY 24,999 (approximately $3,529) in China. It is unclear on the release or availability of the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition for global markets.
