Lumia announced that it is coming with the world’s first smart earrings called Lumia 2. This smart earring is a continuous heath monitor as it tracks blood flow to your head in real time. Lumia added that this next-gen wearable provides insight into energy, focus, and mental clarity.
Lumia 2 was initially developed with Johns Hopkins, Duke, and Harvard researchers to help patients with chronic blood flow disorders like POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and Long COVID-19. For the first time Lumia is available to everyone.

This smart earring is identical to fine jewelr. You can wear the Lumia 2 as huggie hoops, cuffs, and studs and comes in gold, silver, and clear finishes. It attaches to any push-back earring using patent-pending SwitchBack™ technology. Pierced ear is not needed to wear this cuff.

The technology used in Lumia 2 took nearly six years of engineering breakthroughs and clinical research. Lumia is the world’s smallest wearable, weighing less than 1 gram.

Lumia also stated that additional investment funding from J2 Ventures, BonAngels Venture Partners, and prominent angel investors is around 7M and also $5.1M from government contracts and grants. Total funding that Lumia received is around $17.2M.
Lumia 2 Specs
The back of the smart earring houses Lumia’s second-gen PreciseLight™ sensor along with processors, a battery, and more health sensors. As the earring is sitting close to the heart and brain, it captures health signals which otherwise is not possible to measure at the wrist or finger.
They are low-profile, sleep-friendly, and made with truly non-allergenic materials like platinum and titanium. The earrings feature a new earring back locking system to prevent accidental loss
Lumia 2 Battery
The smart earring has a swappable battery pack system so Lumia doesn’t have to be taken off to charge and one can wear it 24/7. Each battery pack supports 5 to 8 days of battery life.
