Microsoft announced Xbox Game Pass July 2020 lineup, which includes some pretty exciting offerings. Four games in total are being added to Xbox Game Pass in July with three of them running on console and two running on PC. This news comes with some bad, as Microsoft confirms the departure of eight games from the service. Before we jump onto the details, let’s take a look at the most notable releases on Xbox Game Pass in July – Fallout 76.

Fallout 76, Bethesda’s troubled online multiplayer take on popular post-apocalyptic role-playing game series, is coming to Xbox One and PC Game Pass on July 9. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start playing Soulcalibur 6 and popular indie action-RPG CrossCode.

Is Fallout 76 good?

Fallout 76 wasn’t well-received – it was one of the worst launched in PC gaming history – when it launched in 2018.  Eurogamer’s Wesley Yin-Poole, said it was a “bizarre, boring, broken mess” in his review.

The game was buggy, always missing something, and at the end of the day, it lacked the experience Fallout fans were looking for. If you’re thinking “is fallout 76 good now,” “is fallout 76 worth it” then you’re probably asking the right questions.

In April 2020, Bethesda released the game’s biggest update yet, Wastelanders. The changes have gone down well it seems as the game is now netting ‘Mostly Positive’ reviews on Steam. Overall, the expansion brings it much closer to the original Fallout game.

Why is Fallout 76 coming to Xbox Game Pass?

At the time of the game’s release, Bethesda was accused of pushing Fallout 76 out of the door in a premature state. The game was heavily criticized for bugs, its business model that largely focused on short-term profit, and for not feeling like the original Fallout game.

Bethesda is trying hard to win back the real Fallout game fans with regular updates. The game has gradually improved since the launch and garnered a significant following. In order to attract more fans back in, Bethesda is now offering Fallout 76 on Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox and PC.

The Legendary Run update: In addition to this, Bethesda also outlined a new summer update for Fallout 76 ‘The Legendary Run’ which denotes the start of new seasonal content. It will run from June 30th to September 1st and comes with new content from boss battles, cosmetics, new challenges, and more.

Fallout 76 : Steel Dawn Expansion

The Brotherhood of Steel have reached in Fallout 76, and even prior than we projected. That’s right, the Fallout 76: Steel Dawn expansion that was due on December 1 has been released a week early.

It’s live now, in fact, on all platforms. Astonishment! If that’s not sufficient of a draw, the patch notes also state that penalties for hunger and thirst are being detached—now you’ll only get a buff if you’re well fed and hydrated.

Superficially, an error this morning predestined Fallout 76 players on Xbox were gifted to download the expansion ahead of calendar. Rather than mucking around with returning their games back to the current version, Bethesda unquestionable to just go ahead and proclamation the expansion early for everyone.
